SETUP NOTES
Control the platform. Attack the chicanes.
Montreal puts a premium on getting the Corvette stopped, changed direction and settled quickly enough to use the throttle without waiting on the rear. This race setup was developed to make the car more predictable over the circuit's curb strikes and bumps without giving away the rotation needed in the slower sections.
The key development areas were the fast direction changes, the T3/T4 transition, the inside bumps through the T8/T9 chicane and keeping the rear from chattering long enough to delay power application.
